Zuckerberg loses billions after Verizon and others pull ads over offensive posts

Major corporations including some of the largest advertisers in the world have pulled ads from Facebook and Instagram over the last few days. Unilever, one of the largest advertisers on the planet, said that it would cancel its ad placements with the social media giant for the rest of 2020. The company makes Dove soap; Lipton tea and soups; Breyer’s Ice Cream; Axe body wash; and many more well-known consumer products.
