Xiaomi is busy working on the new Mi 6, scheduled to release this month, as well as on the Mi Mix and Mi Max lines, the only ones that have yet to receive a refresh this year. Many details about the Mi 6 surfaced recently and the Mi Max also passed through GFXBench.
The sequel to last year’s Mi Max is codenamed Xiaomi Oxygen and will feature a very large 6.4-inch Full HD display, while running Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 660 platform clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with Adreno 506 graphics processing unit.
Other specs of Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Max 2 include 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, together with a 12MP camera on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter in the front. The rear camera is apparently capable of recording 4k videos, while the smartphone comes with NFC support.
