Xiaomi recently unveiled two powerful smartphones, the Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus. The smartphones are expected to hit shelves today, but Xiaomi decided to launch registrations right after the official unveiled.
The numbers are in and it seems that more than 3 million people registered on the company’s website for a Xiaomi Mi 5s or Mi 5s Plus smartphone, according to PhoneArena. The registrations don’t actually count as pre-orders, people simply expressed the interest in purchasing such a device.
Xiaomi stated that the phones received 1.8 million registrations prior to their official release. Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus come with some really powerful specs, including the latest processor model from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 821 SoC.
They also have 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and are made available in multiple variants with 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM. T… (read more)
