Chinese smartphone maker Vivo announced a world premier earlier this month, the first smartphone to feature a dual-lens camera in the front, called the V5 Plus. The device was on pre-order for $400 since Vivo unveiled it, but it only hit the shelves today.
According to Vivo, the V5 Plus is now available for purchase in Southeast Asia and India. Although the Chinese company does seem to be interested in expanding globally, we doubt the Vivo V5 Plus will be released in Europe or North America.
Nevertheless, the V5 Plus is for sure the world’s first smartphone to feature a 20-megapixel dual-lens camera. This is not the first time Vivo launches a world’s first, as some of you might remember this is the same company that introduced the 6GB RAM smartphone.
