Verizon’s Unlimited Data Plan Service Goes Live Today

Verizon recently announced that it will start re-offering an unlimited data plan to its customers starting February 13. Unlimited data on Verizon will cost $80 for one line (paper-free billing and AutoPay) and $45 per line for four lines with unlimited data.

Verizon offers HD (720p) video streaming and 10GB of LTE speeds when customers use their phones as a mobile Internet hotspot. The video streaming quality is higher than for T-Mobile’s unlimited plan, launched in August last year.

T-Mobile offered customers with T-Mobile One unlimited plans the option to pay $15 add-on in order to stream videos with a quality higher than 480p. This caused some complaints from customers, which is why Verizon came with a better offer,… (read more)
