Sony Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact Will Lack Fingerprint Scanners in the US
Sony officially announced the Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact during IFA 2016, and specs of the two smartphones have already been listed on the company’s US website. It seems that the two devices are set to arrive in the US soon.
Sony’s Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact will be launched in the US in the near future, although the actual launch date is unknown. Still, users can register on Sony’s website to get the latest information about the two phones.
Sony’s Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact were both announced with fingerprint scanners embedded in their power buttons, but it seems that the company won’t be providing the scanners on the models to be sold in the US. In fact, fingerprint scanners will be embedded in home buttons only on variants sold in other countries, outside the US.
