Samsung Wants Foldables to Become the Superstar of Its Flagship Sales

Samsung has recently unveiled the Galaxy Fold 4 and the Galaxy Flip 4, and now the company is kicking off the marketing push to make sure the two new devices end up selling like hotcakes.

Speaking during a news conference, Roh Tae-moon, head of Samsung Electronics’ mobile experience (MX) business division, revealed that Samsung wants foldables to reach 10 million sold units this year.

But the long-term strategy is even more ambitious, as the company hopes foldables would account for half of all Galaxy flagship sales by 2025.

All-in on foldables

Indeed, Samsung is betting big on foldables, and the debut of the Galaxy Fold 4 was just the right choice for the company to remind people of its commitment to this form factor.
