Samsung to Launch Galaxy Note 9 on August 2/9, No Major New Feature Expected
Samsung is once again in a rush to unveil its flagships, as the company wants to bring the latest-generation models to the market ahead of rival Apple, who is projected to take the wraps off new iPhones in September.
This time, Samsung has another reason for being in a hurry to unveil the Note 9 earlier than expected: sales of the Galaxy S9 have so far been only moderate, and since the company can’t find a different way to attract more customers to its new models, introducing a fresh product is seen as the right choice.
And according to new leaked information, the Galaxy Note 9 could see daylight as soon as August 2 or a week later on August 9, with sales to begin shortly after that. The unveiling will take place in New York City, according to leakster Ice Universe, who has a good track on Samsung scoops.
