Samsung is one of the few handset makers that doesn’t have any of its smartphones running Android 7.0 Nougat. It could have been the Galaxy Note 7, but after two recalls the phone’s production and sales have been permanently halted.
Now the only hope for Samsung to have an Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone by the end of the year is to release the update for one of its device. Obviously, the device should be the latest flagship the South Korean company launched on the market, the Galaxy S7/S7 edge.
Many of you probably know by now that Samsung has already announced the Galaxy Beta program for the S7 and S7 edge, but that’s limited to some countries and select users.
While the update for these particular two devices are expected to arrive in the coming weeks, it unclear what other phones will receive the Nougat update and when.
