As we’re getting closer to the mid of the month, we expect Samsung to announce what caused its Galaxy Note 7 phablet to explode. The results of the thorough investigation should be made public in the last couple of months, but the latest report suggest the battery is not to blame for Note 7’s issues.
The Korean media reports that Samsung SDI will be the main battery supplier for the upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship. It’s the same company that provided the batteries inside the Galaxy Note 7 and the same that was (wrongfully) accused of delivering faulty products.
