Samsung just unveiled their new user interface design dubbed One UI during the Samsung Developer Conference 2018 Opening Keynote, featuring new rounded icons and a new design language meant to allow Android users to focus on “what really matters.”
“With hardware and software working together in harmony, see only what you need, using and viewing your phone with an experience that feels second nature. Because it’s the small details that make a big difference,” states Samsung on the One UI official web page.
One UI seems to be the direct successor to the previous installment of Samsung’s Android OEM UI dubbed Samsung Experience, that was previously replaced by the TouchWiz user interface.
Samsung’s One UI is designed to tidy up the users’ screen, with every tap bringing up only the most quintessential information for the task at hand.
