Apple described the removal of the headphone jack as an act of courage, and many criticized the company for ditching this super-popular feature on its devices.
And while at first this seemed like a direction that not everyone was planning to follow, it now appears that even its biggest rival is getting ready to embrace the same idea.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 10 without a headphone jack, and according to a recent leak, the South Korean company will go for the same approach as long-time rival Apple.
In other words, while the Note 10 will come without a 3.5mm audio port, the device will include a dongle right in the box, so you’re not supposed to feel like you’re missing anything when trying to connect your standard headphones.
The Note 10 will feature a USB Type-C connector for charging, so the adapter will use a USB-C to 3.5mm input.
