Samsung is now getting ready to launch the Galaxy Note20 as part of an Unpacked event on August 5, and while the company plans to do the whole thing with much fanfare, it doesn’t mean it’s not realistic about the chances of this new model to become a hit.
And according to a new report today, Samsung itself is not super-excited about Galaxy Note20 hitting the market during this global health crisis that doesn’t seem to come to an end, so the company too expects modest sales for the new flagship.
This would be the second Samsung flagship in a row that more or less disappoints.
The Galaxy S20, for example, has pretty much failed to impress, as it launched in February at a time when the pandemic was still in its early days all over the world. The sales, on the other hand, kicked off in early March in most markets, and this was the month when the number of infected people skyrocketed all over the world.
