Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 lineup is very likely to come with in-display fingerprint sensors, according to people with knowledge of the matter, and if a new report is anything accurate, the South Korean firm has a very ambitious plan in mind.
Absolutely all S10 versions to launch next year will feature such fingerprint sensors regardless of price and hardware, as Samsung sees this as a key feature that would help fight the iPhone craze.
Technically, by not giving up on fingerprint sensors as Apple did and by integrating them into the display, Samsung hopes that more people would give up on their plan of buying an iPhone, choosing an S10 for the convenience of unlocking devices in this more familiar way.
