Samsung Galaxy S9+ appears to be suffering from another bug, this time blocking missed call notifications. This means users can only find out missed calls by going to the call log manually, as no other information, such as missed call badges, is displayed on the screen.
While it’s not exactly known what’s triggering this behavior, it’s a little bit odd that the problem only happens on the bigger the Galaxy S9+ and not on the smaller S9.
A report from PiunikaWeb indicates the issue is more often spotted in Europe, and there are signs that the bug was introduced by the March 2018 security update.
While a pattern to reproduce the bug can’t be found just yet, one user says not all missed calls are affected, so the problem appears to be taking place at random times.
