Rumors about the upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship continue to pour in, but that’s not the most interesting things that we have to report on today. It appears that Samsung has already started to work on the next Galaxy Note series smartphone.
Although we would have expected the next Galaxy S8 phones to feature SM-G94X model numbers, the South Korean company has something else in mind. Well-known leaker Evan Blass claims the new Galaxy S8 smartphones will ship as SM-G950 and SM-G955.
Skipping a model number hasn’t been effective for Samsung in the past, let’s not forget that the handset maker launched the Galaxy Note 7 and skipped the Galaxy Note 6 naming. Hopefully, the current naming scheme won’t bring more bad luck to world’s biggest smartphone maker.
