Samsung issued a massive recall for its latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7, which puts a lot of pressure on the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone. The codenames for the upcoming Galaxy S8 have surfaced online and some analysts say that the smartphone could be announced earlier than predicted.
SamMobile reported that two versions of the Galaxy S8 might arrive, internally referred to as Dream and Dream2. The two models carry the codenames SM-G950 and SMG955. Samsung Galaxy S7 bears the model number SM-G930. The report says that Samsung usually bumps up the code number by 10 for a successor, but it seems that this isn’t the case for the Galaxy S8.
