Samsung is working hard on its upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship and the company plans to conduct extensive testing on the phone, which is said to arrive in February next year. A new report by Korea Herald reveals that the phone maker could equip the Galaxy S8 with a dual-camera setup.
Samsung could equip the highly-anticipated Galaxy S8 with an iris scanner and a dual-lens rear camera, to make it more attractive to potential customers and thus recover some losses caused by the discontinuation of its latest flagship, the Galaxy Note 7.
The Note 7 also came with an iris scanner, a technology that Samsung said it took them several years to develop. The company had talked to multiple banks and financial institutions in South Korea in order to provide iris scanning authentication methods for customers.
