Samsung is preparing to launch another Galaxy S8 variant, and evidence of this was recently found in a User Agent String. The smartphone carrying the code number SM-G892A is believed to be the AT&T branded model of the rugged Galaxy S8 Active.
The User Agent String was pointed out by leakster Roland Quandt, but the only information that the listing reveals is that the smartphone in question carries the code number SM-G892A. This is believed to be the AT&T variant of the Galaxy S8 Active, expected to arrive sometime this summer.
That being said, Samsung Galaxy S Active devices usually have MIL-STD-810G standard compliance, in addition to IP68 certification, and the Galaxy S8 Active shouldn’t be an exception. However, it’s unclear if internals will be the same as on the standard… (read more)
