Now that the Galaxy Note10 is already here, Samsung can move on to the next flagship, which according to the company’s typical schedule should be the Galaxy S11.
Needless to say, the Galaxy S11 is expected to introduce a new series of innovations, and one of them appears to be an upgrade to 1TB of storage space.
While you can already get that much storage on a Samsung phone by coupling a 512GB internal storage option with a 512GB microSD card, the South Korean company wants the S11 to offer 1TB storage from the get-go, though at this point it’s not known if the microSD card option is going away or not.
Most likely, however, Samsung will use UFC 3.0 storage, which is already available on the Note10, to provide faster transfer speeds (and this is actually one of the reasons the card slot might be going away soon too).
