Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 was surely one of the most anticipated smartphones in the past few months and the company is expected to exceed sales marks of previous Note smartphones. The high number of registrations for the Note 7 showed how attractive this smartphone is on the market, but it seems that Samsung has been having some issues with shipments.
Reuters reported today that Samsung released a statement saying that “Shipments of the Galaxy Note 7 are being delayed due to additional tests being conducted for product quality”. While the statement doesn’t specifically mention the type of tests, there have been numerous reports lately of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units that exploded during charging.
Reports came primarily from South Korea, but some units from the US were also affected as they started catching fire while being charged with the original Samsung charger. The statement le… (read more)
