Samsung has already started mass production of Galaxy S8 and S8+ units at its facility in Vietnam, according to a report from Korea. The company expects to sell more than 10 million units of its next flagship.
The report quotes an official from a company that supplies cameras for Samsung Electronics, saying that component suppliers are raising their yields significantly since Samsung has decided to ramp up production.
Samsung is preparing for a global launch, and it intends to sell the Galaxy S8 and S8+ across most markets at roughly the same time. The report mentions that the device maker will manufacture 4.7 million Galaxy S8 series in March and 7.8 million in April.
