Samsung’s ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 was discontinued last year, but about a month ago, the South Korean smartphone maker announced its intention to bring a refurbished version to certain markets. Samsung didn’t announce when that would happen, nor the price and specs of the refurbished version.
However, a new report reveals that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 has just received WiFi certification, signaling the fact that the smartphone could be released soon. The device carrying model number SM-N935S seems to run Android 7.0 Nougat, while the letter “S” denotes the fact that this particular variant is meant for the market in South Korea.
