OnePlus 6T Announced with In-Display Fingerprint Reader And Dual Back Cameras
OnePlus just unveiled the OnePlus 6T, in 6.4-inch format and running on an Oxygen OS based on Android 9.0 Pie, and half the price of the top of the line smartphones launched by Apple, Samsung, and Google this year.
The OnePlus 6T features a 6.41 inches Corning Gorilla Glass 6 AMOLED 1080 x 2340 pixels display, with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with an Adreno 630 GPU and 6 or 8 GB of RAM (depending on the model).
Moreover, the OnePlus 6T comes with screen unlock tech which uses an optical in-display fingerprint sensor which “lights up the screen to register your fingerprint whenever you press the unlock area.”
Additionally, although it also comes with Face Unlock, the OnePlus 6T replaces the rumored iPhone X-like notch at the top of the screen with a small dip in the display for the 20 MP HFR front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture.
