OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has recently revealed the key specifications of the company’s next flagship phone, though most of them aren’t surprising by any means.
Lau said in a post on the company’s forums that the OnePlus 6, whose release date is still a mystery, would come with the Snapdragon 845 processor. Again, this was something to be expected since OnePlus models have always been equipped with the most powerful processors available at launch.
The same chip is currently being used on the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and is likely to make its way to other Android flagships as well.
Additionally, the OnePlus 6 will come with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. These will be offered on the top-of-the-range configuration, so more affordable versions with just 6GB RAM and 128GB storage are also on the table.
