OnePlus 5 Users Getting OxygenOS 4.5.14 Update with Fix for KRACK Vulnerability

OnePlus announced that it started rolling out the incremental OxygenOS 4.5.14 OTA (Over-the-Air) software update to the OnePlus 5 Android-powered smartphone series.

Probably the most important issue addressed by the OxygenOS 4.5.14 OTA update is that critical KRACK (Key Reinstallation Attack) security vulnerability, which affects virtually any smart device that connects to the Internet through the WPA2 protocol.

This alone should be the main reason to update your OnePlus 5 smartphones right now. However, the OxygenOS 4.5.14 OTA update also optimizes battery usage for some users, as well as the accuracy of the GPS, not to mention that it fixes many other bugs.
