The first Nokia-branded smartphones in a long time are expected to be announced next month at Mobile World Congress trade fair. HMD Global, the Finnish company that bought the license to release Nokia-branded handsets, will unveil at least two Android devices in late February.
However, word has it that HMD plans to launch at least 6 or even 7 new Nokia-branded smartphones by the end of 2017. Among them, the Nokia D1 and E1 are expected to make their debut in Q1-Q2 2017.
While we know quite a lot about the Nokia D1, also known as D1C, few details about the enigmatic Nokia E1 have been leaked out. Luckily, Nokia fans will be pleased to know that new information about the E1 has just been published by the folks over at NokiaPowerUser.
