LG did not want to wait for MWC’s debut and announced the upcoming availability of another mid-range Android smartphone, the LG X Power 2. The new handset will be showcased at the trade fair between February 27 and March 2, so visitors will be able to try it out.
What sets the LG X Power 2 apart from other mid-range smartphones is the massive 4,500 mAh battery (non-removable), which is rated for up to 15 hours of video playback, 18 hours of internet browsing, or 14 hours of navigational directions.
On top of that, LG announced that its new smartphone packs fast charging technology, so a one hour charge should provide 50% battery power. A full charge will require about two hours, which LG says it’s “twice as fast as most phones.”
