The LG G6 has finally started shipping to its owners and LG continues to promote its latest premium smartphone. In a new video, LG put the G6 through the Goldberg test, challenging all of its features and capabilities.
The G6 first slides down from a panel and starts pushing down transparent glass bricks that launch another G6 unit into a basket. The device is then submerged under water to test its IP68 certification and see if any water managed to break through and reach inside components.
Then small particles are released on top of another G6 unit, in order to test the device’s IP68 dust-resistance. Once the particles are blown off, the smartphone is then dropped from a height of 1 meter to reveal its reliable build and test out scenarios in which users might drop their phones.
