Samsung isn’t necessarily very active in the market of rugged smartphones, but the company has previously launched some pretty interesting models here, including the Galaxy Active lineup that was supposed to bring flagship features in a super-durable package.
This time, it looks like the South Koreans are putting a little bit more effort into a more affordable rugged smartphone which could launch this month as Galaxy XCover 4s.
German site WinFuture says this device could go live on June 12 and be sold in Europe for 250 Euros.
Since it’s supposed to be a rugged smartphone, its strength has been further enhanced with a rubber case which doesn’t necessarily look good, but on the other hand, score extra points in terms of grip and resistance to typical hits and drops that such a model would be prone to.
