The Huawei Mate 9 is a hard-to-come-by flagship phablet. Unveiled back in early November, the smartphone made it to China, but its availability in other countries is still a mystery.
According to the Chinese handset maker, the phone should go on sale in select markets in December, but despite Huawei’s official statement, the Mate 9 can hardly be purchased in a couple of countries.
But that didn’t prevent Huawei from releasing a first software update even before the Mate 9 was launched on the market. Today, another update is available for those lucky few who managed to get their hands on one.
The first update released by Huawei added 6x camera zoom, as well as some other optimizations and improvements, such as display in the status bar, which should now show notifications in a clearer way.
