HMD Global company from Finland is said to announce the first Nokia-branded smartphones in February 2017, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The company is reportedly cooperating with supply chain makers in Taiwan for developing four new models to launch in the second and third quarters of next year.
Digitimes recently reported that the four new models will have display sizes that range from 5.0 to 5.7 inches or Full HD resolutions, according to sources. The report says that panel suppliers are LG Display, Century Technology (CTC) and Innolux. It seems that FIH Mobile will serve as a production partner for the upcoming phones.
HMD Global did recently announce that it will be launching Nokia smartphones that focus on innovation, quality and experience.
