Google Pixel Demand Higher than Nexus 6P in First Week, but Limited by Supply
Google announced that there won’t be any Nexus devices in the future, thus killing the line that offered fans the raw Android experience they were looking for. The new Pixel phones announced by Google last month have already be released on the market, but they are hard to come by.
In fact, it would be more accurate to say that customers will have to wait up to a month to get one since Google doesn’t seem to be able to handle supply for any of the two Pixel smartphones.
But the good news is the adoption rate for the Pixel phones are higher than the Nexus 6 in the first week, which means many Android fans have decided to switch to Google’s new handsets. Samsung’s failed Galaxy Note 7 might be another reason that Google’s Pixel phones have been so well received by customers.
