Google has just brought new features to its Google Maps application through a server-side update. The update brings Street View images on the directions screen, as well as a bottom bar for location info, first spotted by Android Police.
Google rolled out an update to its Maps application a few days ago, but it seems that a number of new features were introduced with a server-side update afterward. One of those features is Street View images on the directions screen. Google is most likely conducting a staged update process and the features will arrive to users from all over the world by the end of the week.
