Samsung has just released two flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, but a recent study by Kantar World Panel reveals some interesting facts about the company’s evolution in one of the biggest markets in the world.
In the US, the South Korean company’s most popular smartphone is the Galaxy S5, with a 15.6% share of Samsung’s installed base in February 2017. The smartphone is followed by the Galaxy S7 with 11.5%, and the Galaxy S6 with 11.4%. Surprisingly, the Galaxy S8 edge accounted for 5.8% of the company’s installed base in one of the biggest smartphone markets in the world.
