One of the areas that are getting much attention from smartphone makers these days is battery life, and just like its rivals, Samsung is looking into new technologies to improve it.
After increasing the capacity of its batteries on the Note 9, Samsung is now planning a different approach, and the next-generation phablet could come with a different type of battery.
It’s called graphene, and according to a tweet from Samsung_News_ (an unofficial account with a good track on Samsung scoops), it has already passed the internal testing.
In other words, graphene-based batteries are ready to be installed on Samsung’s phones, so the 2019 generation could come with this new technology. This means both the Galaxy S10 and the Note 10 could feature it, though there’s a bigger chance only the latter would get it.
