Android 7.0 Nougat for HTC 10 Deployment on Hold Due to Unknown Bugs
HTC was bragging until last year that it was among the first OEMs to provide major Android OS updates as soon as Google released them. However, companies like Motorola and LG have made important progress towards bringing new Android versions to their devices quickly.
The good news is HTC continues to try to provide its customers with these Android updates as fast as possible, and Android 7.0 Nougat is no exception to the rule. The major upgrade was rolled out to the company’s flagship smartphone, the HTC 10, back in November.
Many carriers across the globe have already deployed the update after testing it, including US-based network operator T-Mobile. Strangely enough, earlier this week, HTC announced that it had to halt the rollout of the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the HTC 10 due to some unforeseen issues.
